Clevermail's optional Campaign Manager Module allows you to engage your customers in real one to one marketing dialogue. You can create a series of email and SMS messages that are triggered automatically based on the consumer's profile and interactions across any time frame.

 

With the Campaign Manager module you can:

  • Automatically send Birthday specials to your customers 5 days before their birthday and a Happy Birthday greeting on the day
  • Create an Event campaign that automatically confirms registered attendees, promotes viral marketing to colleagues, sends reminders and even feedback surveys
  • Automatically send targeted messages to customers based on the links or images they click in a message or what they select from a web form
  • Trigger targeted messages based on items a prospect has selected within an online form or any link they've clicked within an email.

Why use Campaign Manager?

 

You've decided to plan your next campaign several months in advance. You identify the messages you need, write the copy, create what if scenarios (e.g. if messages bounce, resend 4 days later or send SMS instead), spruce up your tired looking emails, and even had the plan reviewed by your colleagues for quality and logic flow.

 

Now, the only hurdle left is to get your in-house developers/vendor to develop a few lines of code that will take care of the business rules you want to implement for the campaign.

How it works


The Campaign Manager helps you create a campaign from a series of steps within a plain english interface.


Each step is based on four key elements:


1. A Source - which is either a trigger against a database or a message being sent.


2. A trigger - eg. Customer updated profile and advised they would like to receive information regarding First Class Air Travel.


3. An action - e.g send an SMS to the customer if their email address bounces


4. A Timframe - e.g. Send an email Birthday card 5 days prior to the customers birthday.




A trigger can include:


  • Email is opened
  • Email Bounces
  • Email not opened
  • Contact Subscribes
  • Contact Unsubscribes
  • Contact updates their profile
  • Link is clicked
  • SMS is delivered
  • SMS delivery failure
  • Contact updates their profile from SMS
  • Contact unsubscribes from SMS

A trigger can then initiate an action.


An action can include:


  • Sending a message
  • Change a value in a contacts record
  • Sending a notification message to another contact/set of contacts

Each step can also have a corresponding timframe.


A timeframe may be one of the following:


  • Immediately
  • A period of time after the trigger occurs
  • A set date and time

Using Campaign Manager

 

1. Plan Your Campaign

 Simply write down all the messages you intend to deliver during the lifetime of your campaign, and the anticipated timeframes for each event in your campaign.

 

2. Create Your Messages

 Create email or SMS messages to match your plan. E.g. the event promotion email, registration confirmation, reminder one week out, SMS reminder on the day, and a follow up thank you including the speaker presentations.

 

3. Create Campaign Steps

 This is the engine that drives your plan. Implement the steps from a plain English system interface. The Campaigns module will also produce a text overview and map of your campaign.

 

4. Campaign Reports

 Full reporting on all messages including a text overview and campaign map with associated statistics for every step - ideal for presenting results and gauging the success to help improve future campaigns.

Campaign Manager allows you to set up automated birthday greetings and offers to your customers.


For example, send a 'Birthday Offer' to your customers 5 days before their birthday and a 'Happy Birthday' greeting on the day.

Campaign Manager allows you to set up a series of messages to be delivered over a period of time.

Bounced Email Management

Campaign Manager allows you to automatically manage your bounced email addresses to help keep your database clean and updated, and improve deliverability.


For example, send an SMS to all contacts with a permanently bounced email address asking them to reply with their correct address, and in return the email will be resent.

Behavioural Targeting

Campaign Manager allows you to automatically communicate with propsects based on items they've click on in an email sent to them, and update their profile in your database to state what they are interested in.


For example, send out a product brochure containing products A, B & C; if any of the products is selected, their profile is updated on your database to show their interests, and they are automatically sent an email with more information on that particular product.

Webform Criteria Campaign

Campaign module allows you to automatically communicate with prospects based on items they've requested from online forms

For example, a customer enquires about specific course through a web form with checkbox options: Course 1, Course 2, Course 3. The customer is automatically emailed the relevant course information.

Pricing

All prices quoted below are in Australian Dollars. If you reside outside Australia , you may use the Currency Converter provided by x-rates.com

Campaign Manager's pricing structure is based on a set up fee of $299 then a monthly subscription fee of $79# per month.


The set up fee includes a two and a half hour over the phone training session (session can be broken up into 45 minute sessions).


Please note Campaign Manager is a module of Clevermail and they must be used in conjunction.
